Our new professional counseling center is looking for Junior Therapist who are willing to begin with a start-up therapy center in Cedar Park, TX. Want to start with a fresh new center where we can create and build something wonderful together. Looking for therapists who are independent, build up clientele to part-time or full-time, hardworking, on time, go getter, excited to keep learning cutting edge practices, ability to learn and maintain up to date documentation electronically.
Eco-Health Therapy incorporates trauma informed care practices in their day to day practice. Looking for an array of specialties; children, teens, adults, LGBTQ, couple, parenting, family therapy. Looking for specialization in DBT, EMDR, Play Therapist, and or other evidence-based treatment modalities.
Clinical Therapist Job Description
Clinical therapist will provide outpatient individual, couple, and/or family therapy to clients of Eco-Health Therapy.
Reports to: Clinical Director
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Studying for Degree in, psychology, counseling, or social work.
- Must hold a caseload of 10 plus patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Eco-Health Therapy.
Other Qualification Preferences:
- Some clinical background with some experience in a psychotherapy setting.
- Have at least two niche markets for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, chronic pain, dual-diagnosis, etc.)
- Skilled in the use of software applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Drive, etc. and willingness to learn new electronic health record system.
- Critical thinking, attention to detail, and zest for professional growth
- Highly organized, self-motivated, collaborative, proactive
- A flexible schedule is a must. Hours may require at least one night and/or weekends. Therapist is not guaranteed a minimum number of patients or sessions per week. However, it is expected that Therapist will be available to hold at least 10 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Eco-Health Therapy.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site and telehealth clinical counseling services to clients of Eco-Health Therapy, as scheduled
- Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to client sessions in-office and or telehealth
- Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Eco-Health Therapy
- Respond to clients’ requests for service or calls within 24 hours. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and/or providing services to such clients.
- Attend monthly clinical consultation/team meeting and keeping up with your CEUs is required.
- Communicate with a client’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.
- Complete written records for each client including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, and other forms or documents in a timely fashion (within three days of session). Keep client files accurate and up to date and billing within the electronic health record.
- Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner to maintain and increase the good will and reputation of Eco-Health Therapy. Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers.
