Background

Ebony is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 5 years of experience. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and pursuing her license in chemical dependency. She earned her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University as well as an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Fayetteville State University.

Her dedication in guiding individuals to achieve their desired well-being arise from her goal to build emotional intelligence and self-acceptance with each client. She has experience in working with various age groups including children, adolescents, teens, and adults. Ebony finds her focus to be in serving teens (15-18), adults (19-50), and the Military community (active, veteran, and dependents). She specializes in helping people cope with, and overcome, the challenges associated with trauma/PTSD, grief/loss, eating disorders, life transitions, depression, anxiety/panic, sleep emotional and behavioral regulation. Modalities she uses include Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness.

Born and bred in the Great State of Texas, but raised all over the world, Ebony is a proud Army Brat. Ebony has served our country in the United States Air Force, is a mother, and wife to an active duty Army Soldier. When she is not helping people through work, she appreciates relaxing with her family, dancing, camping, quiet time, yoga, cooking, and playing her flute.
