Bobbi Marsh, LPC

Senior Counselor

Background

Bobbi is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), with 18+ years’ experience in the Mental Health field. She has a master’s degree from Webster University in Community Counseling, with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from Minnesota State University.

She has dedicated her career to those suffering from all types of trauma. She believes every individual reaching out for help, has their own personal trauma that is overwhelming to them, inducing feelings of hopelessness, and helplessness to this trauma. Her goal is to provide individualized, empathetic, nonjudgmental treatment, in a safe environment for all individuals to share their trauma, in order to help guide them to grow from their life experiences (the good and the bad).

Bobbi has worked in schools and juvenile justice systems, state facilities, hospitals with military programing and outpatient services. She has developed and facilitated eating disorder programs, dual-track Military programs for active duty and veterans suffering from childhood trauma, psychosis, combat and non-combat related PTSD, Anxiety Disorders, Military Sexual trauma, Eating disorders, and substance abuse disorders.

She was born and raised in Minnesota, then moved to Texas almost 20 years now. In her spare time, she enjoys yard work, crafting, and refurbishing old furniture. In Bobbi’s own words; Growing up, I endured my fair share of significant trauma, which placed an angel in my path (My high school guidance counselor), who showed me true caring, empathetic listening and overall encouragement in using my own trauma to become a stronger "me". In doing so, she inspired me to become a therapist and help others in the same way she helped me through my toughest times.
